The date of the MABA Annual General Meeting has been set for Sunday, October 26th at 7pm via Zoom. As per the Bylaws, all teams are entitled to have two voting delegates attend the meeting. Please forward this to anyone who may be interested in attending. All voting delegates must have registered with the MABA for the 2024-2025 season but observers are welcome to attend.

We'll be approving the annual Review Engagement, Selecting the dates and locations of the 2026 Provincial Competitions, confirming annual Membership fees and discussing regional broomball programs and financial assistance (available grants).

The following positions will be up for election this year:

- Vice President (2 year term)
- Treasurer (2 year term)
= Juvenile Director (2 year term)
- Regional Reps (1 year term)

OTTAWA, ON — May 20, 2025 — Broomball Canada has officially announced the host cities and dates for its two national tournaments in 2026. The U20 Broomball National Championships will be held at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, from March 24 to 28, 2026, while the Senior National Championships are set to take place in Alma, Quebec, from April 7 to 11, 2026.

The U20 event, expected to draw top young talent from across the country, will utilize the state-of-the-art ice facilities at Carleton University. This marks a return to Ottawa for the tournament and promises a vibrant atmosphere with the nation’s capital offering a rich sports culture and strong support for youth athletics.

Just weeks later, Alma, Quebec will welcome Canada’s best adult broomball teams for the Senior Nationals. Known for its passionate local fans and deep broomball roots, Alma is no stranger to hosting this high-level event and is gearing up for a strong turnout and fierce competition.
Both events are expected to feature male and female divisions, while senior's will offer Mixed and Master as well. The championship matches will determine the top teams in Canadian broomball. With increased attention on the sport's growth and youth development, 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for broomball in Canada.

All members need to complete their MABA registration forms with payment of $20.00 (Recreational/League) & $40.00 (Provincials/Nationals) for the upcoming season. Provincial Registration fees of $200.00/team must be paid to MABA one week prior to the Provincial event.
